Welcome to Triple D Ranch. The following Barn Rules are intended to help provide a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for everyone at the ranch. By using the facility, all boarders, trainers, riders, and guests are expected to follow these rules.
Respect Others
- Do not enter another person’s stall, tack trunk, or tack room without the owner’s permission.
- Guests may not ride another person’s horse unless they have signed a liability release form.
Horse Safety
- Horses may not be left unattended in the arenas, round pen, grooming stalls, or wash racks.
- Horses outside of their stalls must be wearing an appropriate halter with a lead rope or a bridle.
- Horses may be turned loose in an available arena or round pen for up to 15 minutes while stalls are being cleaned, provided another horse or horse and rider are not already using the area.
- Horses may be lunged in the arena. Free lunging is not permitted when other riders are present.
- Do not tie horses to aisles, doorways, buildings, or fences.
- Riding is not permitted in barn aisles, stalls, or paddocks.
Facility Care
Please help keep the ranch clean for everyone by:
- Cleaning grooming stalls after each use.
- Dumping manure only in designated locations.
- Wrapping hoses back onto their holders after use.
- Keeping wash racks and grooming stalls clean.
- Returning all rakes, shovels, tools, tack, and buckets after use.
- Turning off lights if you are the last person to leave the ranch.
General Ranch Safety
- No smoking is permitted in the barn, arenas, or surrounding areas.
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the ranch.
- Illegal drugs are prohibited.
- Please stay clear of the propane tank, tractor, and all farm equipment.
- The speed limit throughout the ranch is 5 mph.
Riders & Visitors
- All boarders must sign a liability release form and boarding contract.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Children may not climb trees or fences.
- Riders under 18 years of age must wear an approved riding helmet.
- Gloves are recommended while riding and handling horses.
Trainers & Instructors
Horse trainers and riding instructors may only provide lessons or work horses after providing proof of insurance and receiving approval from the facility’s insurance agent.
Pets
- Dogs and other pets must remain on a leash while on the property.
- Dogs are not permitted in the arenas or round pen.
